Today I am reviewing one of the minimalist product. It is Vitamin C serum. I love Vitamin C serums. Did I like the Minimalist Vitamin C serum? Was it worth the hype?  Let’s find out.

Vitamin C acts as a brightening agent that improves the appearance of dull skin by giving you a more even and bright complexion with a natural glow.

Vitamin C helps in fading dark spots and it lightens the hyperpigmentation.

Minimalist Vitamin C claims

Made with stabilized Vitamin C derivative "Ethyl Ascorbic Acid" that has 86% pure Vitamin C content. That is much higher than 40-50% content present in other Vitamin C derivatives. At a pH ~ 4.0 it is highly stable and effective.

Made in centella water to soothe & hydrate skin. Also contains 1% Acetyl Glucosamine (AG), an amino-monosaccharide (simple sugar) and a precursor of hyaluronic acid, that provides skin moisturization,boosts natural Hyaluronic Acid synthesis, and regulates natural exfoliation.

The following is the word from the brand itself. This brand is also claim that their all products did not contain artificial fragrance,,silicons, parabens, essential oils, dyes or sulfates. All the harsh ingredients are out.

Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Ethoxydiglycol, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Glycerin, Sodium Gluconate, Acetyl Glucosamine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Pullulan, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan Gum, Sclerotium Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Lecithin, Lactic Acid


Ingredients analysis 

It is fragrance free, silicon free and parben free.

It contains Ethyl Ascorbic acid it is next gen Vitamin C which is more stable that Vitamin C.

Includes lactic acid which is PH adjust  and humectant.

Lecithin – Emollient 

Includes pullulan it tightens and firm skin.

It also includes Centella Asiatica leaf water which has skin healing properties and it boost collagen production.

Direction for use

• After cleansing and toning your face, take 2-3 drops of Vitamin C serum on your fingertips with a dropper. Apply it on the face by gently tapping it on the skin. With a circular motion, evenly spread the serum and allow your skin to absorb it. It can be applied in the morning(AM) and evening(PM). Always wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 30 and above while using Vitamin C serum.

Packaging of Minimalist Vitamin C serum

It comes in a dropper glass bottle coated with black film to prevent the serum from oxidizing. Light and air can not pass through this packaging. Make sure that you store this product in a dark and dry place. This bottle also contain a glass dropper which make it easy to take the product without any wastage.

I am writing this after using the vitamin c serum for over two months. Initially I got little bit pimples on my cheek but later on, after 2 weeks my pimples got disappeared the result seemed good and my skin appeared brighter and even- toned. Over-all it’s a good product but don’t forget to do a patch test befor applying this product on your face.
